Register

The first step is to register as a user on the site, so if you haven’t done so already click the “register” link on the right hand side of the page and simply enter a few details about yourself. Remember these details are never passed to anyone other than us and your guests.

Create

Create your list. You can have as many lists as you like so you can work on your wedding list whilst also starting your Christmas list. To create a list simply click the link on the right (or via the menu above) that says “Create, edit or view your lists” and fill in the short form. Be descriptive when filling in the form, give the list a meaningful name to help your guests find it when they search. Also, you can enter the name of the second person if the list is for a joint celebration.
There is a box for further information, this is the ideal place to mention if you would also like vouchers purchased for you. Or maybe mention if you prefer items sent straight to you as opposed to coming via your guest. Remember however that if you ask for delivery to you that you need to remember that deliveries may come at various times and on various days.
We suggest that you enter a password to protect your list, if you do nobody will be ale to see your list if they don’t know the password. This will stop any nasty strangers getting their mits on your list and marking all the items as purchased!

Window Shop

Finally the fun part! Go window shopping and add those products. You can add any product from any where at all. To add a product click the link on the left to edit your list, select the list and click “add product”. You will be given a form where you can add lots of information about the gift you would like, you DO NOT have to fill in EVERY section. You can just fill in the name of the item and the web address. But remember the more information you give the easier it will be for your guests to know they are buying the right item.
If you want to add an item that isn’t available from a website that is not a problem, just make sure you fill in the street address of the shop it can be bought from.

You can add as many gifts as you want, and there is no time limit at all.

Finally make sure you tell all your friends about your list. If you use FaceBook then click the button on the left to tell all your FaceBook friends where to find your gift wish list.
